921 R Street NW is complete!

We are happy to announce that 921 R Street NW is complete! Located just next to The Burlingham, 921 R Street is a single family home renovation project. This single family home with mother-in-law basement suite features 3 bedrooms with 3.5 baths. It also has a finished two car garage that could be utilized as a studio space, office, or an indoor/ outdoor lounge space. The home has a private deck off the the master bedroom, a back patio area, as well as a roof top patio on the finished garage. Located in the heart of Shaw, this new development offers buyers a residential neighborhood just steps away from the Shaw- Howard Metro stop, local coffee shops, some of DC’s best dining and necessities like the local Giant. This is one of four projects by Lock7 that have been located in Shaw this year. 

921 R Street is one of our favorite projects yet! We tried out a lot of new finishes and we love how they all turned out. The kitchen features light grey cabinets with a matching island large enough for seating,  gold hardware and fixtures including the drum pendant lights, calacatta countertops with an amazing mixed marble backsplash and new stainless steel appliances including a Viking range and a Sharp microwave drawer. In the basement kitchen we wanted to make it look very fun and trendy! We used a custom Sherwin Williams paint for the cabinet color, gold hardware and fixtures with carrara countertops and a carrara penny tile backsplash. The bathrooms are one of our favorite parts about this project! Throughout the bathrooms we used “rustic” wood vanities mixed with a variety of carrara floor tiles, white subway tile, gold Delta fixtures, matching gold hardware and energy-saving duel flush toilets. In addition, 921 R Street also includes a number of other features such as customizable Elfa closets, Nest thermostat, space saving stacked washer & dryer and an abundance of natural lighting.
