With construction in full swing at The Collins, located on 1344 MD Ave NE, and the completion of The Corey and The Granville we have been able to discover all that the H Street Corridor has to offer! The H Street Corridor the located in Northeast DC near NOMA, Trinidad and the Atlas District. The H Street Corridor is accessible from the NOMA and Union Station Metro stops or the DC Streetcar. The H Street area has undergone a lot of change and revitalization within the last decade. In the middle of the 20th century the H Street Corridor had become one of D.C.’s largest commercial hubs. However, the riots in 1968 following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. left the neighborhood destroyed. Several decades later, businesses that had been thriving on H Street started to appear again and began to revive this once bustling area. Today, the corridor is thriving and it has become a new DC hotspot with its hip restaurants, local coffee shops, bustling nightlife and new housing.
To help you get a better understanding of the neighborhood, we have put together a list of our top 10 ten favorite spots in The H Street Corridor
