2017: A Year in Review

As the New Year approaches we thought it would be the perfect time to revisit all of our projects from 2017! This year we have completed four new projects, sold out of five projects and we currently have six projects under construction. 2017 has been a busy year for the Lock7 team and we cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store for us. Located at 919 R Street NW is The Burlingham, a conversion project from a single family home into a new two unit luxury condominium building in the highly sought after Shaw. One of our favorite parts about this project was the beautifully restored stained glass windows in addition to the luxury finishes and the detailed millwork on the walls.

Located just next to The Burlingham, 921 R Street is a single family home renovation project. This single family home with mother-in-law basement suite features 3 bedrooms with 3.5 baths. It also has a finished two car garage that could be utilized as a studio space, office, or an indoor/outdoor lounge space. This has been one of our favorite projects this year. One of our favorite parts of this project was the finished garage space with roof deck. To make the space more inviting we added black full glass patio doors, a powder room and a wet bar featuring a mini fridge. Another aspect of the project that we loved is the black trim floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room.

THE LOUISE (1710 10th Street NW)

Located at 1710 10th Street NW,  The Louise is a conversion project from a single family home into a new two unit luxury condominium in the sought after Shaw neighborhood. One of our favorite parts of this project is the modern interior and finishes. We decided to use new finishes (like white and light wood slab cabinets with black fixtures) and we love how it turned out! The units look very modern and airy with all the natural light, the neutral finishes and open concept layout.

THE COREY (1111 Orren Street NE)

The Corey, located just blocks away from the popular H Street Corridor, is a new 49-unit mixed-used building making it our largest project to date. It is comprised of 49 residential units with one retail space and eight surface parking spots. The building features four studio apartments, 29 one-bedrooms and 16 two-bedroom units. One of our favorite parts of this project is the amenities. The Corey features a rooftop lounge with views of the monuments, a secure bike room and a wellness room!

BROOKS ROW (2724 12th Street NE)

Brooks Row, located at 2724 12th Street NE, is a 22 unit complex located in Brookland. This development is comprised of spacious town-home style 12 2BR/2BA and 10 3BR/3BA units with private outdoor space and parking. Brooks Row was complete in December 2016 and it sold out two months later. 



ELEVEN15TH (11 15th Street NE)

Eleven15th, located at 11 15th Street NE, is a conversion project from a 6-unit apartment building into a 10 unit condominium building. The building is comprised of four 2BR/1BA units and six 1BR/1BA units. One of our favorite parts about the project is the new exterior. We changed the brick color, added light and dark metal paneling to the new window bays and added floor-to-ceiling windows. There is only one unit remaining at Eleven15th!
