Assistant Project Manager
Patrick Conway, Co-Founder and Principal, has an MBA in Finance from the Robert H Smith School of Business and a BA in Economics from Georgetown University. Patrick spent twelve years in finance, working as a Trader in New York and later Washington, DC, and maintained entrepreneurial endeavors in the DC and Baltimore areas. In 2007, he left trading altogether to focus his career in Real Estate Development. Patrick’s financial background, knowledge of DC real estate and architectural inspiration enable Lock7 to successfully identify, project and account for each development project. Patrick is a licensed agent in Washington, DC and Maryland.
David Gorman, Co-Founder and Principal, has a BBA in Marketing and Management from Emory University. A native to the DC area, David oversees the design and construction of Lock7 development projects. His knowledge about the local real estate market and his expertise in design and construction management ensures that Lock7 produces quality workmanship and projects run smoothly and on schedule. David is a licensed, bonded and insured general contractor in Washington, DC and a licensed real estate agent in Washington, DC and Maryland.
Chris has been working with Lock7 as an independent consultant since its inception. He has an extensive background in the real estate industry. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University, then an accounting degree from the University of Maryland University College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
With a natural skill for discovering new opportunities, James joined Lock7 in 2013 to help our team find new off-market deals. In the last two years, his role has increased to also include managing developments by organizing subcontractor bids, negotiating contracts and helping to obtain permits and entitlements. James received a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland in 2014. He began working in real estate development as a freshman in college; first by shadowing landlords and ultimately by buying and renovating single-family homes.
Mark Mullen joined the Lock7 team as an Assistant Project Manager to help oversee the construction of new projects. Mark's main tasks include obtaining permits, negotiating subcontractor bids, and assisting with scheduling and budgeting. Mark has worked in DC real estate since moving to the area in 2014. Mark graduated from Hofstra University in 2013 with a Bachelor's of Science. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Construction Management from Drexel University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking and fly fishing.
After several years of experience sourcing value-add opportunities for developers in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area, Jon joined the Lock7 team as an Acquisitions Associate. Jon is responsible for analyzing acquisition opportunities, financial modeling, site selection and negotiating transactions. He holds a Bachelors of Science from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and is currently a candidate in Georgetown’s Master of Real Estate Program. As a self proclaimed outdoorsman, Jon enjoys camping, hunting and fishing when he is not working in the city.
Megan Schlabaugh joined Lock7 in 2015 as the Operations Corrdinator to oversee predevelopment, design direction and construction for development projects. In addition, she assists the sales team with marketing and the contract to close process. Prior to joining Lock7 Megan worked as a project manager for two years at a real estate development firm in Washington, DC. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Grinnell College. Outside of the office she enjoys catching up on the latest design trends and exploring The District's newest shops and restaurants.
Samantha joined the Lock7 team as an Interior Designer & Administrative Assistant. Samantha oversees selecting interior design finishes and materials, all communication and marketing efforts, and managing administrative tasks. As a D.C. native, Samantha quickly developed a love for the city's beautiful architecture. Her passion for design led her to pursue a B.S. in Interior Design from Appalachian State University. Prior to Lock7, Samantha had experience in sales, marketing and exhibit design. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore D.C.’s many museums.
